Heat meter "Pulsar" with a pulse output - designed to measure: the amount of heat energy, cooling energy, heat power, volumetric flow (volume), temperature, temperature difference of the coolant (water). The heat meter can be used to measure heat in a dead-end hot water supply system, as a hot water meter that determines the volume of water, the temperature of which is higher than the set value. The heat meter includes a flow transducer, a calculator and a pair of platinum resistance thermocouples. The principle of operation of the heat meter consists in measuring the volume and temperature of the coolant in the supply and return pipelines and the subsequent determination of thermal energy by processing the measurement results with a calculator.
To measure the consumption of thermal energy in heat supply systems, heat meters are installed. They can be installed in horizontal, vertical or inclined pipelines. For the most convenient data reading, it is recommended to use pulse heat meters. Such devices have proven themselves effectively at facilities with a low flow rate of the coolant - in apartments and country houses, in offices, shops, small manufacturing enterprises. They can be mounted both on the supply pipe and on the return pipe.
