Hydraulic section

The hydraulic housing and impeller are made of grey cast iron. Pressure side connection is designed as a horizontal threaded connection.

Electric motor

Surface-cooled motors in three-phase version for direct starting are used. The heat is given off directly to the environment via the motor housing. These motors can be used in immersed state in continuous duty (S1) and in non-immersed state in intermittent duty (S3).

In addition, the electric motors are equipped with the following monitoring devices:

Electric motor compartment tightness control The tightness control signals the entry of water into the electric motor chamber.
Motor temperature control sensor The motor winding temperature control sensor protects the winding from overheating. According to the standard bimetal sensors are used for this purpose.
Standard supply cable with 10 m length, free ends, hermetically sealed.


The fluid-side and motor-side seals are provided by two mechanical seals. The seal chamber between the mechanical seals is filled with white medical Vaseline oil.
