The Wilo-Padus UNI is the ideal pilot pump for pumping dirty water in small, industrial buildings. The pump is used as a portable or sump mounted pump. The hydraulic section in corrosion-resistant composite material offers high reliability for universal use in a wide range of operating environments. Installation is very easy due to the low weight, built-in condenser and threaded connection. Double mechanical seals and a large seal chamber ensure long maintenance intervals. Direct access to critical components ensures maximum ease of maintenance. In addition, Wilo-Control instruments also allow the Wilo-Padus UNI pump to be integrated into the existing building management system.

The submersible wastewater pump is constructed as submersible monobloc unit for portable wet well installation.
Outlet on the pressure side is designed as vertical threaded flange connection. Open multi-vane impeller is used. A suction filter is integrated into the hydraulic housing.
Surface-cooled or jacket-cooled motors in single-phase (with built-in operation capacitor) and three-phase version for direct starting are available:
Surface-cooled motors: The heat is given off directly to the environment via the motor housing. The motors can be operated in immersed state in continuous duty (S1) and in non-immersed state in intermittent duty (S2) or intermittent duty (S3).
Motors with cooling jacket: The heat is dissipated by the fluid being pumped through the motor housing. These motors can be used either immersed or non-immersed (S1) in continuous duty.
In addition, the motors are equipped with sensors for monitoring the temperature of the motor winding. They protect the motor winding from overheating. On units with a single-phase motor, they are integrated into the electrical circuit and operate automatically without an external device. That is, the electric motor is switched off when overheated and is automatically switched on again after cooling down. According to the standard, bimetal sensors are used for this purpose.
The VA version of the pump is equipped with a vertical float switch. The switching level is preset by means of two floats on the threaded rod. This version requires less space than conventional float switches and is suitable for use in narrow sumps.
There is a seal chamber between the electric motor and the hydraulics. It is filled with white medical Vaseline oil. The fluid-side and motor-side seals are provided by sliding mechanical seals.
