Wilo-Actun OPTI-MS - Autonomous, optimised water supply using solar power.

In arid, remote and off-grid regions, an uninterrupted water supply is a challenge. The new Wilo-Actun OPTI-MS, which is powered by solar energy, ensures an efficient and reliable water supply even in areas without power.

Type

Multistage submersible pump in tie-bar version (QSI) or as an eccentric screw pump (QSH) for vertical or horizontal installation

Description/construction

Submersible pump as submersible centrifugal pump in close-coupled design (QSI) or as eccentric screw pump (QSH) for vertical or horizontal installation.

Hydraulic section

Multistage submersible centrifugal pump (QSI) with radial impellers in sectional design or as eccentric screw pump (QSH) with eccentric screw in double volute rubber stator. Built-in check valve. All parts in contact with the pumped liquid are made of corrosion-resistant materials.

Electric motor

AC type permanent magnet motor. Leak proof encapsulated stator with enameled windings, self-lubricating bearings, water-glycol mixture filling.

Frequency converter

Sealed frequency converter for direct operation with DC power supplies. Integrated software algorithm MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) provides adaptation to available power to maximize water supply (dynamic MPPT).

Cooling

The electric motor is cooled by the pumped liquid. The electric motor may only be operated in immersed state. The maximum temperature limits for the pumped liquid and the minimum flow speed must be observed. Vertical installation can be carried out with or without a cooling jacket - at the customer's choice. Horizontal installation is done with a cooling jacket.
