Type

High-efficiency, ready-to-connect water supply unit with 2 to 4 vertically arranged normally aspirated self-priming, high-pressure stainless steel centrifugal pumps of the Helix EXCEL series connected in parallel. Each pump is equipped with an electronically commutated motor with integrated high efficiency air-cooled frequency converter. Valves and sensors are protected to ensure safe and reliable control. The system is equipped with the Smart Controller SCe.

Application

• Automatic water supply systems in supply mode, public water supply, pressure boosting from reservoirs or pressure pipes, for municipal, industrial and private applications (e.g. waterworks, commercial and industrial plants, residential, office, public, administration buildings, hotels, hospitals).
• According to DIN 1988 and DIN EN 806 a back-up pump is included.
• Approved pumped liquids are generally waters, which do not have aggressive chemical and mechanical effects on the materials used and do not contain abrasive and long-fibre constituents, such as
  • Drinking water
  • Cooling water
  • Processing water
  • Extinguishing water (except water for fire extinguishing systems according to DIN 14462; with the approval of the local fire department)

Equipment/function

Each system has 2 to 4 pumps of the Helix EXCEL 2 to Helix EXCEL 52 series with a high efficiency IE5 EC motor and speed control via a built-in frequency converter on each pump.

The SCe control unit provides automatic regulation and control of the pressure boosting unit.

Fully assembled on a height-adjustable galvanized steel base frame with removable cover to protect the plant components (except Helix EXCEL 52 series).

All parts in contact with the pumped liquid are corrosion resistant.
