  • 2 to 6 MVI series vertical stainless steel high-pressure multistage centrifugal pumps switched in parallel
  • User-friendly "CC" control/control unit with microcomputer control and program memory, fully graphic touch screen and menu-driven parameter entry; when using COR units with frequency inverters for main pump speed control

Application

  • Automatic water supply systems in supply mode, in public water supply, for pressure boosting from reservoirs or pressure pipes, for municipal, industrial and private applications (e.g. waterworks, commercial and industrial plants, residential, office, public, administration buildings, hotels, hospitals)
  • Pumping of potable water, process water, cooling water, water for fire-fighting (apart from fire-extinguishing systems in accordance with DIN14462 and subject to approval by local fire-fighting authorities) and other service water that does not attack the materials used chemically or mechanically and does not contain abrasive or long-fibre constituents

Description/construction

  • Base frame: galvanized, with height adjustable anti-vibration mounts, providing good structure-borne sound insulation. Other models available on request.
  • Complete pipework: complete stainless steel pipework, suitable for connection of all materials used in building services equipment; the pipework is designed according to the total hydraulic capacity of the pressure booster unit.
  • Pumps: 2 to 6 pumps of the MVI 2 to MVI 95 series connected in parallel. All pump parts in contact with the pumped fluid are made of stainless steel or, starting with the MVI 16..., of grey cast iron (cataphoresis coated) or stainless steel on request.
  • Fittings: Each pump is equipped on the suction and pressure sides with ball shut-off valves with DVGW approval mark or ring-shaped shut-off valves and, on the pressure side, with a non-return valve with DVGW approval.
  • Diaphragm pressure vessel: 8 l/PN 16, located on the discharge side, with butyl rubber diaphragm, compliant with food safety laws. For inspection and testing purposes, equipped with shut-off ball valve, emptying system and flow fittings according to DIN 4807.
  • Pressure sensor: 4 to 20 mA, arranged on the discharge side for controlling the central Comfort Controller
  • Pressure display: Pressure indication on inlet and outlet pressure side by means of a pressure gauge ø 63 mm Additional digital end pressure indication on the alphanumeric touch screen of the Comfort Controller.
  • Control unit/controller: The unit is equipped as standard with the Comfort controller CC. The COR version is optionally available with a frequency converter.
