Type

Water pressure boosters for fire-fighting water in accordance with EN 12845

Depending on the model with 1 or 2 pumps, horizontal baseplate frame (EN 733), with replaceable coupling, electric or diesel engine and multistage vertical electric booster pump.

Application

Fully automatic water supply for fire sprinkler systems in residential, office and administrative buildings, hotels, hospitals, shopping centres and various industrial facilities.

Equipment/function

• 1 or 2 pumps with horizontal baseframe for the 32-200 to 150-315 series, with standard IE3 equivalent electric motor or with diesel engine
• With diaphragm directly attached to the main pump casing to avoid overheating at zero flow
• MVIL-1 or MVI-1 series jockey pump with pressure switch and vertical pressure tank 20 l, PN16
• Each pump is provided with a switch cabinet mounted on a sturdy support structure. SC Fire E for electric motor and D for diesel motor, both with Smart Controller, plus J for make-up pump
• Galvanized steel base frame with height-adjustable outlet manifold bracket
• Steel piping; epoxy coated. Distributor with flanges
• Shutoff valve with safety locking device at outlet pressure side of each pump
• Check valve at outlet pressure side of each pump
• Circuit with double pressure switch, pressure gauge, check valve, valve for main and reserve pump for automatic start-up
• Concentric taper on the discharge side of main and reserve pumps for speed limitation in accordance with EN 12845
• DN2" connection for pump suction tank
• Pressure measurement on the discharge side
• Only for diesel engine model:
  • Vibration-absorbing sleeve on the final pressure side of the pump
  • Vibration absorber under the base frame of the pump
  • Fuel tank with fill-level sensor; sufficient tank capacity for six hours of autonomous operation
  • 2 accumulators or 4 batteries on base frame and battery charger in SC Fire control cabinet
• Accessories on request: Media information: Can be pumped only with water that does not contain abrasive or long-fibre constituents and that does not attack the materials used chemically or mechanically. The system complies with EN 12845
