Operating Algorithm
The device supports two control modes, which can be switched using a toggle switch on the front panel:
- Manual Mode
- Operational control is performed directly from the front panel of the cabinet. The Start/Stop buttons are used to start and stop the fan. The current system status is displayed via LED indicators.
- Automatic Mode
- Fan operation is controlled by external signals coming from:
- The fan can be activated in automatic mode in two ways:
- Fire control panel (FCP);
- Fire alarm control panel (FACP) of any modification;
- Remote start devices (RSD).
- Via an external power source. A control voltage of 24 VDC is supplied to the cabinet terminal block — For example, from the potential output of the control panel or fire alarm control panel.
- Using the built-in power supply. 24 V is supplied after closing an external dry contact – for example, through the potential-free output of the control panel/fire alarm control panel or the contacts of the fire alarm control panel.
Motor Stop
The electric motor is switched off in the following situations:
- when the control voltage is removed from the cabinet terminal block;
- when the mode switch is moved to the "Lock" position.
