The Woltman-type turbine water meter with a parallel impeller axis is used wherever large flows with a relatively constant flow profile need to be controlled. They are specially designed for urban services, municipal water supply and industry, and thanks to their robust design, they can not only work with a large measuring range, but also have a high and stable measuring accuracy over time.
The hydrodynamic optimized turbine operates reliably even at low flows and has sufficient "spare" capacity to accommodate flow limits. First of all, the long service life of the meters is guaranteed by the reinforced bearings with a low friction level. The meters can be retrofitted at any time with impulse, optical and inductive NAMUR sensors - without damaging the control seal. Thus, the sensor can be integrated into an existing data transmission system in a simple way with many different possibilities.
