Roca Group

Roca started with the production of cast iron radiators for home heating systems in its own factory in Gava, a suburb of Barcelona. After the start of production of radiators, the company added boilers to its product range. In 1929, Roca entered the market with its own bathtubs.

Roca is always closely following the changes in society's attitude towards water resources, the main natural resources with which it works, and therefore in 1936 the company decided to start production of glass ceramics for bathrooms. Thereafter, in 1954, the company began manufacturing copper products.

Roca Rus LLC, a subsidiary of the Roca Group, has been operating in Russia since 2004. Construction of the first stage of its own plant began in autumn 2004 in the city of Tosno, Leningrad Region. and was completed in the summer of 2006. The production area is 26,000 m2, the total area of ​​the plant is 10 hectares.

The plant in Tosno became the first foreign enterprise for the production of sanitary ware built in the Russian Federation. Investments in the construction of the first stage amounted to 40 million euros. The plant is equipped with modern equipment for the production of sanitary ware from leading manufacturers from Italy and Germany.

The company currently employs about 250 people. The plant's production capacity is 600 thousand units of products per year. Currently, a number of collections under the Jika and Roca trademarks are produced at their own plant near St. Petersburg. On the Russian market, Roca Rus presents sanitary ware products under the Roca, Jika and Laufen brands.
