Three-phase electricity meters — features, types, modifications

Company "TEPLOVODOKHRAN" manufactures energy metering devices for objects of various purposes. At industrial enterprises and other facilities where powerful electrical equipment is used, it is proposed to install three-phase "Pulsar" electric meters. They are designed to work in three- and four-wire networks.

A three-phase device consists of a measuring and computing unit, a housing and a display on which readings are displayed. It is able to measure the current consumption of electricity, as well as:

• indicators of its quality (deviation from the standard parameters of voltage, frequency);
• characteristics of the electrical network (power, current, voltage, power factor, frequency).

The device archives data for an hour, a day, a month, keeps an event log.

Types of equipment

Meters of this category may differ by connection type:

• direct;
• semi-indirect (the current winding is connected through a transformer, the voltage winding — directly to the network);
• transformer.
