The UOK condensate drain unit is a set of equipment designed for efficient condensate drainage from steam lines.
The characteristic elements of the unit are:

• a steam trap for automatic condensate drainage
• a shut-off valve for shutting off the condensate drain line
• a sight glass for visual monitoring of the process
• a filter for cleaning the working environment in order to protect the equipment from premature wear
• a check valve to prevent backflow

Main areas of application

• drainage of saturated and superheated steam lines
• condensate drainage from heat exchangers and process equipment
• steam tracers, steam registers and other heating equipment

Each UOK condensate drain unit is designed depending on the individual operating characteristics of a specific customer steam condensate system.

Design options

• Spatial layout of the unit depending on the customer's system
• Bypass line with a shut-off and control valve for repair work
• Unit design with a pumping condensate drain or condensate pump
• Condensate drain with additional options to reduce maintenance costs (freeze protection, manual ventilation of the condensate drain, manual drainage)
• Unit complete with a universal connector, which allows the condensate drain to be positioned in the correct position on a horizontal or vertical pipeline.

Also, at the customer's request, it is possible to supply a unit based on:

• Separator for drying saturated steam
• Steam collector (comb) for collecting and distributing steam from the boiler
• Separator of secondary boiling steam (for heat exchange equipment) or blowdown expander (for boiler equipment) in order to increase the energy efficiency of the steam system
• Lifting vessel for vertical installation of a condensate drain with flow from bottom to top
