In August 1991, Hangzhou Specialized Pump Factory was founded. Shortly thereafter, it successfully launched China`s first production of stainless steel centrifugal pumps, manufactured using a stamping and welding process. With the goal of becoming the number one pumping equipment manufacturer in China, the company implemented several major national projects and also began actively expanding its overseas sales. In 2007, the company participated in the National Torch Project, a program to develop high-tech industries in China, becoming one of the most influential companies in the industrial equipment market.

In 2011, officially renamed Nanfang Pump Industry Co., Ltd, the company entered the market for large and medium-sized industrial pumps.

That same year, a joint collaboration with TSURUMI Japan was established, and a research and development center was established in collaboration with Zhejiang University.

In 2015, CNP established an official sales office in Russia.

The company began actively developing in the field of environmental protection, focusing on improving the energy efficiency of its equipment. Received a National Technology Center certificate. High-efficiency electric motors developed in-house have successfully passed testing and certification.

In 2022, the company won the "China Machinery Industry Top 100" award for five consecutive years.

The Russian representative office becomes the leader among the company`s foreign subsidiaries in sales turnover. An extensive dealer network has been established in Russia, along with warehouses and certified service centers throughout the country.
